With the push of a button, the CJ Scalder will scald 4-6 birds in 60 seconds. The CJ Scalder rotates birds in scalding water using a perforated tray providing optimal agitation and feather penetration. The water is heated via 2 propane burners, and the temperature is digitally controlled and maintained. The scalding timer is programmable, and once the preset time has been reached, the CJ Scalder automatically stops rotating keeping the tray of birds in a perfect horizontal position above the water. This keeps the birds from being over scalded and provides easy access for loading and unloading.
